Building a city is like baking a cake. For the best results & maximum satisfaction, you need that special blend of ingredients. Then once you have that magical product, you can decorate it with whatever toppings compliment your masterpiece to make it beyond perfect. This is where civilians come in. Without people, a city is but an empty shell with nothing to give it life.

But what happens when you make your cake with ingredients gone bad? It could destroy the flavour entirely, & the whole thing must be thrown out. Jitaku City is a place on the verge of spoiling, as more & more “bad eggs” are finding their way into the city. Or they may have been here all along…

Perhaps you could do some good? No matter your background, no matter what you’ve done in the past, the future of this city is all that matters. You could be a lawkeeper, a health centre medic, a smuggler who helps the needy or an incorruptible politician. Your expertise combined with others you’ve yet to meet could be the difference between this city surviving the next winter, & the 100ft walls that keep the monsters at bay from crumbling.

Be wary though. Jitaku City is teetering on the brink of collapse, not because of the beasts that try to get in… but because of the monsters the city never realised were already inside…
